Bursting onto the hit post-apocalyptic CW show The 100 in season two as a highly intelligent nomadic bandit Emori, Luisa was an instant hit with the show’s fans. Emori has remained a staple character in all five seasons since then, evolving from a shrewd and distrustful outsider to a part of The 100’s core group of survivors and one half of a bonnie-and-clyde, us-against-the-world relationship. Emori has a mutated hand, and her clan cast her out at a young age because of their views on physical mutation. This lead to her intensely difficult early life, but also was likely the source of her incredible resilience, resourcefulness and desire to acquire new knowledge and skills in her efforts to survive.
Luisa was born in Vancouver, Canada, has been acting her whole life. In her early years she performed in many plays and musicals, sang in choir and competed at the Show Choir Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee. She began working professionally in her 20s with breakout roles on Psych, The Good Wife, Cracked, and Motive before beginning a deep run into the sci-fi world including The 100, Channel Zero, The Twilight Zone, and Supergirl.
