Grand Archive is an anime-inspired trading card game featuring stunning artwork, memorable characters, and exciting back-and-forth gameplay. It has grown rapidly across New Zealand, with major prize pool events and Oceania Nationals helping to build a passionate and welcoming community.

Our Learn-to-Play sessions will be running all day, with friendly coaches available to guide new players through the basics. No experience is required, demo decks are provided, and you can join in whenever you're ready.

Entry is FREE with the purchase of any Grand Archive Starter Deck from Card Merchant. Starter Decks will be available on the day at a special event price.

The Starter Deck Challenge consists of 3 Swiss rounds, making it the perfect first event for new players while still offering plenty of fun and friendly competition.

Every player will earn at least 3 Booster Packs—one for each round played. Win a round and you'll receive an additional Booster Pack, meaning players can earn up to 6 Booster Packs during the event.

Whether you're learning the game for the first time or looking to jump straight into organized play, this is the perfect opportunity to begin your Grand Archive journey!
