Child Cancer Foundation Fundraiser 2026

For over a decade now, a dedicated team have run fundraisers at both Wellygeddon and Palmygeddon for the Child Cancer Foundation (CCF) – this team has just been recognised by CCF with a Distinguished Service Award.  It’s hard to say exactly how much has been raised by this dedicated team with the support of the Armageddon team (some of the funds raised happen after the event via items signed by the VIP guests) however a conservative estimate is over $150,000, but please help them add to this amount in 2026!

The specific fundraising activities at each event may have varied from year to year, but two elements have been constants – raffles for cool nerdy stuff and the Airsoft shooting gallery.  This Palmygeddon the nerdy prize up for grabs via the raffle is a 3D printed prop replica of the Chemrail rifle from Elysium, which has also made  appearances in slightly modified forms in some other movies like James Cameron’s Avatar.

The shooting gallery will feature either Xenomorph Alien (from the Aliens move franchise) or Zombie paper targets. So please Swing by and test your aim against the ultimate ET or the feature from many a modern horror culture shows like The Walking Dead, all while at the same time supporting a great cause.

All proceeds go directly to the Child Cancer Foundation – a charity ensuring no child with cancer or their family has to walk the path to recovery alone.

Note: Full safety equipment is provided for the shooting gallery and each shooter is supervised, so if you can reach the trigger you are good to have a go!  There will also be spot prizes for good shots or cool costumes!
