… And what a great year it has been.

Thanks to everyone who made 2019 a truly memorable year with four incredible shows across NZ. Armageddon has evolved over the years and every time we do an event it feels like we are a global showcase for the hospitality of Kiwis and how beautiful this country really is.
With the year nearly behind us we have already turned our gaze to 2020, to celebrate the 25th year of Armageddon, the Southern Hemispheres longest running pop culture event.

Starting with Wellington, at the Sky Stadium (formerly Westpac Stadium) over Easter on Friday April 10th until Sunday April 12th. Wellygeddon will have some considerable changes to previous years, including:

• The return of the main stage inside
• Moving of the celebrity signing area
• A new Streamer, Youtuber, Cosplay signing and guest area
• Multiple VR and technology areas throughout the event
• An International Comic and Author area
• Layout changes to the positions of some larger displays and areas.
• Celebrity hint… Fans of the TV series ‘The 100’ will want to come to this event.

Guest announcements for this event will be made in February, with Tickets on sale through Ticketek from March 2nd.

Christchurch (May 30-June 1st) at the Horncastle Arena on Queens Birthday and Tauranga at the Baypark Arena (June 6/7th) will have tickets on sale from April 27th, with announcements made after the Wellington show. 
Celebrity Hint… Currently these events have a strong CW guest aspect.
We have also been working to increase the gaming aspects of these shows and will have new VR and Esports areas as well as Wargaming areas at each event to really add more to each event for attendees.

Auckland is set for Labour Weekend at the ASB Showgrounds on October 23-26th 2020.

This will be the official events official 25th anniversary and we are aiming to make this the single biggest event ever, with a party, special activities and all new exhibitors present.

To help celebrate the Anniversary, we should be selling limited edition souvenirs (currently a special Silver Pin and T-Shirt) that we hope to have available at the Wellington event and for order through the expo website.
