#AUCKGEDDON is only four months away and guest announcements have officially started, commencing with ALAN TUDYK the star of Rogue One, Wreck It Ralph, Moana, Firefly, Serenity, I Robot, A Knights Tale, Death at a Funeral and so much more! ALAN TUYDK will be joining us for the ultimate Armageddon event of the year.
Over the next three weeks we will be announcing a slew of media, comic, animation, gaming, anime, YouTube and Cosplay stars, so keep an eye out on the event page for details to thrill and amaze you, as this years line-up is insane! Be sure to indicate your interest on our Facebook event for notifications of updates!
Be sure to check out the Armageddon Online Store, now with autographs available to purchase from all the guests who came to the 2018 Wellington, Tauranga and Christchurch events!
Now that our regional shows have come to an end for the year we can announce our planned dates for 2019!
Wellington will not be held on Easter Weekend, but instead the first three days of the April School holidays (Saturday to Monday), Christchurch remains on Queens Birthday long weekend, with Tauranga the weekend afterwards next year.
Announcements and details will start in November once Auckland 2018 is done.
Some will notice that we do not have a Dunedin event in the schedule. Currently we are not planning a Dunedin event for 2019. This is for a few reasons; primarily because to run the Christchurch event at the level that we are striving to, makes holding Dunedin difficult as splitting resources means we cannot do more, but actually less between the shows. Additionally, the high volume of negative attacks we received from some fans regarding the Dunedin event has not encouraged us to hold the event again (very much the opposite really).
Our aim is to make these events the best that we can and your support is makes this possible. As we gear up towards these shows and more after 23 years of events we are excited about creating an experience we are happy to share with you all.
