Virtual Celebrity Autograph events

The 2021 Auckland event will feature an all-new celebrity aspect, Virtual Celebrity Autographs!
This will feature a selection of TV and Movie stars who will PRE-SIGN 8x10 photos that will be sent to the event for collection during a specific appearance time. This is a way for the event attendees to receive 100% genuine signed items from stars who cannot appear in person. This will enable Armageddon to bring in guests ‘virtually’ that we would never be able to noramlly secure, in addition to physical guests appearing at the event.

Guests appearing virtually will be announced in mid-August, but so far the current planned line up includes stars from The Walking Dead, New Series Doctor Who, Star Trek The Next Generation, Riverdale, Game of Thrones and more to come.
These photos will generally be $50 each, exact prices will be promoted once the guests have been announced and before being available for purchase.
Some (but not all) guests will also be appearing in virtual panels during the event, so this may be your only chance to have a one-on-one chat with them.

This will work as follows:

  1. You purchase a token at for a specific day and time for a specific guest and character photo. VIP pass holders will have an exclusive ‘personized’ option for their autographs (this will only be available to VIPs for a limited time in order for the autographs to arrive in NZ in time for the event).
  2. Guest will sign items and their agent will send them direct to Armageddon offices before the event.
  3. You attend the event at the virtual signing time (an autograph token does not get you entry to the event, you will need a ticket to the event to gain entry as well in order to collect your autograph).
  4. Guest will appear virtually via zoom chat to interact with each attendee one-on-one who has purchased a signed autograph on a scheduled day/time.
  5. You receive the signed photo.

Times will be announced before items go on sale, however we expect these to take place in the first half of each day between 10am to 2pm.
Tokens do NOT include entry to the event.

PLEASE NOTE – These virtual signings are for event attendees only. While we may have a few autographs available after the event, we will be reserving all items to be signed for physical attendees first and will not release any overflow items until AFTER the event (if there are any left). Absentee packs will not be available for these autographs. 

These tokens will be on sale from September 1st (VIP ticket holders will have early access from August 25th) and are limited in quantity.



Due to the extended lockdown in Auckland from the Delta variant, the 2021 Auckland event has been postponed to 17-19th December at the Auckland Showgrounds. It is our expectation that NZ will continue to be in Level One of Covid-19 restrictions which allows for public events, HOWEVER, please be aware it is always possible that the government could make changes to restrictions at any point. 
It is our absolute intention to hold the 2021 Auckland Armageddon event as scheduled, but while we aim too, literally anything can happen right now, so please check back to this website and the events social media for regular updates.

Remember that if you are any of the following you are not permitted into the event:

  • feeling unwell or have any cold or flu like symptoms
  • are self isolating or awaiting test results for COVID-19
  • have a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19
  • or have been in contact with anyone who fits the descriptions above


Following the Government announcements over the last few days it is assumed that you will need to be already vaccinated for Covid-19 or to get vaccinated this month to be able to attend the Auckland Armageddon event planned for November 26-28th.
The vaccination certificate or passport, which we expect to be available by early November, will be required for entry to all mass events (of which Armageddon definitely is) so please plan accordingly as we are working behind the scenes on implementation of this at the main entry gate.
We fully support this policy, but please note that this will likely be a legal requirement anyway. While Armageddon Expo respects that each individual has the right to choose to be vaccinated or not, it is clear that if you wish to enjoy mass events and gatherings in NZ you will need to be vaccinated, and should do so now if you have not already.
