Here we are all in lockdown, at home within our ‘bubbles’ so what better time is there to get your game on.

Whether it’s picking up a game that you played previously and grinding through the rest of it to completion or getting your retro fix of an old but still good title.

During the past few weeks there has been a slew of new releases on all platforms.

Nintendo graced us with their newest chapter of the Animal Crossing series with New Horizons, while Capcom resurrected Dante and Virgil in the action packed, demon slaying Devil May Cry 3 ported over to Switch.

PlayStation however was the clear winner for lockdown releases seeing a couple of flagship remakes exclusive to the console.

Final Fantasy VII takes fans (and newcomers) back to one of the most celebrated games in the series.

Capcom were on fire with their visually astounding and gameplay engrossing Resident Evil 3 Remaster where once again you battle T-Virus infected zombies and Umbrella Corp biomutants in Raccoon City.

And lastly petrolheads were not left on the side of the video gaming road. DiRT Rally 2.0 roared out on to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One bringing us the ultimate DiRT game ever created taking us back to the glory days of rally racing with a loving tribute to the rally legend the late Colin McRae.

As our lockdown eases up over the next few weeks we can start to see some of the delayed epic titles rolling out – such as the long awaited The Last of Us Pt II.

That’s all from us and as always, game on.
