Fight! Mortal Kombat 11 has exploded onto consoles with the usual fervour and fatalities. An immersive fighter that Mortal Kombat has always been with a twisty and solid storyline, Mortal Kombat 11 is most definitely one for the fans.
Also on console this month is the film adaption to video game; World War Z.
A surprise hit which sees you taking out hordes of the undead (and I really do mean hordes) in a co-op play on or offline.
The Switch also received some love this month with the port of Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. Showing that the Switch has the juice to run almost everything, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen (originally released on last gen in 2012) is a highly engaging RPG offering up an almost endless gameplay.
In the indie game sphere – another prize winner landed early in May. A battle romp, in your undies, with Brief Battles. Strap on those tiny whities and use the underwear or power, many powers infact across multi-tiered Levels. Best played in multiplayer against friends or frenemies.
With Rage 2 just around the corner - and Tom Clancy’s Breakpoint having just been announced there’s a lot to look forward to this month and beyond.
