With Xmas 2019 fast approaching we have seen a slew of big and small games release in the last month.

One of the biggest surprises and a definite must play is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order from EA Games. Seemingly making up for past Star Wars licensed titles that weren’t quite as expected, Fallen Order takes up back to third person action adventure roots where you are Cal, a young Jedi trying to save yourself and the Galaxy against Empire rule.

Released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Outer Worlds shows us that an overly expansive game can be a great thing, fusing in a deep play and RPG elements making it yet another in the lead up to the festive season to have on your Santa list.

And for Switch owners Nintendo delighted Pokemon fans with Pokemon Sword. The ever-lasting anime-like franchise where cute beasts battle stood up to the expectations of fans.

Now that the heat of the summer sun is bearing down us, you may just want to take your Switch on the go. Veteran game makers Taito rejuvenated their decades old Bubble Bobble with. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends. The oddly addictive puzzle game for Switch may not be everyone, but if you ever played any of the originals then it’s worth checking out.
