Here we go for April – Wellygeddon month!

The steady march of game releases has also been just as exciting.

Nintendo’s Switch has seen the resurface of Yoshi in his own game, Yoshi’s Crafted World, a pleasing and at times challenging platformer… and everyone loves a bit of Yoshi!

Final Fantasy IX saw a port on to the hybrid portable and the surprise indie RPG Mutant Year Zero also announced for the Switch, with all of its DLC.

More reveals for the upcoming reboot of Crash Team Racing came to light from Activision and action fans were not left out with a call to re-join as an elite operative within ‘The Division’. The Division 2, based on the Tom Clancy franchise released on PS4, Xbox One and PC while Call of Duty burst on to mobile.

Virtual also got a look in late March with The Wizards Enhanced Edition on PSVR. Virtual magic.

The biggest surprise was a new release on 3DS. Yep, the 3D handheld console is still rocking, as Kirby goes epic with Kirby’s Epic Extra Yarn. A remaster with added goodness.

This month is shaping up to be stellar one with Days Gone releasing near the end of April and Mortal Kombat 11 slightly before that, promising many a fatality!

That’s our wrap up for this fortnight. Game on.
